Introduction: 

The provided line graph compares the number of tourists who came to the UK and the number of UK residents who travelled overseas over a 20-year period while the bar graph illustrates the most popular destinations for UK tourists in 1999. 

Overview: 

The number of visitors from the UK was always higher than that of those coming to the country. Furthermore, France was the most popular destination for residents from the UK. 

Body 1: 

In 1979, 12 million UK residents came to other countries to visit. Meanwhile, the number of people coming to the UK was 2 million lower. 20 years later, there was a dramatic rise in the number of UK tourists who traveled abroad and this figure reached a peak at 53 million. Similarly, the number of tourists coming to the UK also rose but not as rapidly and just reached over 25 million. 

Body 2: 

In 1999, France received around 12 million UK travelers. This was followed by the figure for Spain, at 9 million tourists. On the other hand, the number of UK residents who went to the US, Greece, and Turkey never exceeded 5 million. Of these, only 2.5 million people visited Turkey, which was also the lowest figure.
