Don’t enjoy

Q: Do you like roller coasters?

A: To be honest with you, I don’t really enjoy going on those rides because I’m afraid of heights! I guess that’s why I don’t enjoy visiting amusement parks at all since my friends would force me to get on.  

Not my thing

Q: Do you enjoy watching horror movies?

A: As a matter of fact, horror movies are not my thing. I find them too scary but my friend is a huge fan, which means I’m dragged into watching them. 

Can’t stand

Q: Is there any food you particularly dislike?

A: Actually, I can’t stand cilantro because the taste is just too strong for me. Unfortunately, most Vietnamese dishes have them so I have to pick them out one by one.  

Get on my nerves / Drive me crazy 

Q: Is there anything that particularly annoys you?

A: I suppose loud chewing really gets on my nerves / drives me crazy because it feels very disrespectful and I just can’t focus when someone’s doing it around me.
